Winter is almost upon us and with it, that means there is plenty to discuss when a rock-solid anime season hits. That said, it is time as always to do a bit of housekeeping, see what’s happening and what you can expect from me in the next few months! Let’s get into it after the cut.
Taking Next Week Off
With the Summer of Love and the 4-year anniversary behind me. I’ll be taking next week off to recover and think about what happens next. I always like resting after the big one-two punch of the last days of summer, and I for sure need it.
The Summer of Love IV
On reflection this was a harder Summer of Love to do than the others. That is mostly due to Cardcaptor Sakura being a more difficult series to talk about. Moving forward I will probably focus on more action-based or dramatic series instead. Don’t know what I’ll pick yet, so I welcome suggestions!
Future Blog Posts
While I got most of my list done this time, there were a few more I didn’t get to. As always these are more guidelines and goals instead of must-hit targets. Life happens, stuff gets in the way, and again, I don’t get paid for this. I want to hit more light novels, but I can’t make any guarantees.

As you can see, 2022 has its goals and 2023 looks packed. I hope that by this time next year, or the next housekeeping post. I’ll have continued to make good progress. Of course things always change, new shows come and go, and sometimes more time or less is given to me. I do think I can get a lot of this scratched off the list.
As always I have many people to thank: Crow, Irina, Lynn, Scott, Yomu, Pete, Jon Spencer, Lesley, iniksbane Catholic weeb and infinitezenith for always being there for chat or comment. I hope you’ve all been enjoying the blog as much as I enjoy working on it. Make sure to follow me on Twitter at @ShallowDivesAni if you aren’t already.
And as always. Thanks for reading my blog.
