It’s Monday, which means it is time for this! Welcome back to Don’t @ Me! The place where, like the Architect. I sit in my chair and completely derail an entire movie as I give my thoughts, views and opinions on everything in the anime and manga world. Let’s get into it right after the cut!
- In all honestly, I fucking love the above scene. It’s such a gut-punch and a great twist to an already great series of movies. I know people don’t like it, but fuck it’s some damn brilliance.
2. Ayakashi Triangle was such a joy to watch in its pilot episode. It just reminds me of the harem series of the late 00s and early 2010s. I don’t like it being censored even in the AT-X version, but there was a heart and joy to the entire thing that I’ve missed.
3. Started watching Steins;Gate with the girlfriend and I gotta say, on the third viewing, those first few episodes throw A LOT at the viewer, with a pace that can be a bit off putting. Dub still fucking rocks though.
4. You know, I am surprised there isn’t an anime series based off the classic chick-flick romantic comedies. I think that would be kinda cool to see. Don’t know if it would be good, but it be cool to see.
5. I’m looking forward to posting my thoughts on Fire Emblem: Awakening. I mean, who else wants to worship at the altar of Donnel! Clearly the best character ever in that game. Though Tharja is a damn babe who hasn’t been replicated since.
6. Austrailia banning imports of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord Omega is funny, because the first season is so much fucking better. I mean…really, there isn’t a major loss here.
The Architect scene was, as you said, a gut-punch. Very effective. I think the writers lost clarity of thought during the third movie. Even their imagery was off! But I still treasure the first two movies.
