Once again we have finished another year in anime. Plenty of amazing shows, plenty of shows that were good, and other shows that weren’t. I’ve hummed and hawed over my list, and finally come to my decision regarding what I think is the best and worst of the year. Have things changes since my last halftime look? Well sit down, relax and let’s find out right after the cut!Read More »
Anime in 2022 is halfway over, and it has been a decent year so far. Nothing amazingly special, but still solid. Now that we’ve reached the halfway point, it’s time to give out my thoughts on what I think is the best, and the worst, of the year so far. This list will no doubt change by the time the end of 2022 rolls around, but here is where I stand! Let’s get into it after the cut.
You know what’s great? When you watch a series and you can perfectly sum it up in a simple sentence. No long winded explanations, no hour long videos, no trying to break down what the show is. Just a simple concept that can be boiled down to a handful of words. With that said let’s take a dive into Love after World Domination after the cut and see if that feeling applies!
I don’t think there has ever been a show that has been wholly eclipsed by something else than this one has. A show I have enjoyed and defended even when it was anime’s favorite whipping boy. I still stand by that, but I also have to look at the world for what it is, not what I want it to be. So after the cut let’s take a dive into the second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero and see what’s up!
How do you talk about a show that has already won your ‘anime of the year’ twice? What else can you really say aside from ‘it’s good, go watch it’. Sure I could go on and on about stuff that really doesn’t matter, or try to staple it to this our that idea or belief. But I’m a blogger, not an anime youtuber. I don’t care for hour-long video essays, and I don’t care for listening to my own voice. Still, is there something I can talk about? I think there is. So after the cut let’s take a dive into Kaguya-sama: Love Is War: Ultra Romantic and find out!
People on this blog need no introduction to this series. I’ve discussed all of the previous three seasons and The Summer of Love II was all about it! But that was then and this is now, and now we have a brand new season! Does it hold up? Is it an upgrade from the decent but ‘okay’ third outing? Well after the cut let’s take a look at Date A Live IV and find out!
This show needs no introduction. In what has been a surprisingly light anime year in terms of heavy-hitters, this has been the show viewers have been waiting for. Does it hold up? Is it worth the hype? Or has this just been overblown? Let’s get into the first cour of SpyxFamily right after the cut.
Spring 2022 is reaching it’s conclusion and it is time once again to take a look and see how the show are fairing? It’s been a solid season overall, with one big hit and the rest all comfortable in the ‘solid’ territory. What am I watching? What do I think? Let’s see after the cut!Read More »
It’s time to take a gander at how spring 2022 has been shaping up! True to form this season has been loaded with good series and plenty of awesome sequels. I will note that I pushed my look at Tiger and Bunny 2 until later in the year (seeing it with friends) How is it fairing so far though? Well let’s get into it after the cut with our three episode check-in!Read More »
