I’ve pretty much said everything I want to say about Higurashi. It’s a fantastic series, top to bottom and the sequel has been nothing but fun as well. With all the posts I have, I think it is high time I have an easy to access page for them all. Please enjoy the list of everything I’ve said about this bloody great series!
I’ve talked shop about Higurashi before, and recently me and my fellow blogger Infinite Zenith managed to get together and dish out some thoughts on the sequel series. Both of us were fans of what we saw and we knew we just had to talk about it. I hope you enjoy what you see!
I just keep finding myself coming back to this series! While I’m currently working on another collaboration post with a fellow blogger, I wanted to take some time and discuss a character that has interested me for a while now. While many people have turned on GOU/SOTSU for reasons both understandable and not, I do think there is a lot of good that isn’t being shown. With that, let’s take a dive into the character of Sakoto Hojo right after the cut.
It’s Monday, which means it is time for this! Welcome back to Don’t @ Me! The place where, like the anyone listening to the sounds of Cicadas, I start slamming my baseball bat into anyone can I see, I give you my thoughts and views on everything manga and anime. This week I’m going to go to bat (pun fully intended) for the sequel series Higurashi GOU/SOTSU. Let’s get into it after the cut.
This blog post is going to be different, because I’m not going to be really talking about SOTSU itself. While there is stuff to discuss, too much of it is just a re-hash of GOU done through the eyes of a different character. Interesting stuff at times, but nothing that I can really pull out myself. Instead I’m going to discuss the entire Higurashi sequel. Either way, let’s get into Higurashi -SOTSU- after the cut.
It’s Monday, which means it is once again time for this! Welcome back to Don’t @ Me! The place where, like many people in this world. I at least try to give you my thoughts, views and opinions on everything in the anime and manga world. This week is well…just that, let’s get into it after the cut!
Summer 2021 is winding down! It’s been a very light season and I couldn’t have been happier. These breathers are important for anime fans, as it lets us digest the excellent helpings of before, and get ready for what comes next. Still there have been some fun and decent shows this time around. We are eight episodes in for most of them, so it’s time to get check in after the cut!
Spring 2021 is just about finished and it has been a great run, but that also means that Summer 2021 is almost upon us! We have a bunch of cool series and sequels coming, but what am I going to be watching? After the cut let’s see what’s going to be on my radar (at least for now) for Summer 2021!
One of the few true rules of anime it seems is that sequels to popular shows never end up working. Like the Disney films before them, there just doesn’t seem to be a single show that has struck as well as its original. Boruto has been up and down, Gundam Seed Destiny was garbage, and apparently the less said about Yashahime, the better. Anime sequel just haven’t really hit, and in some ways, the show we are talking about today is another entry. However it is also manages to be far more effective. After the cut let’s take a dive into the second half of Higurashi: Why They Cry -Gou-!
Every then an anime ending or opening comes out that just absolutely hits in every perfect way. A bona-fide home-run in visuals and music. Higurashi is the next one on the list, cause hot DAMN is this something special. The Tune of the Week is the second ending theme for the series: Irregular Entropy by Ayane!
