Interspecies Reviewers: The Fuck-It List

There is probably no other anime genre that has such a varying degree of quality then ecchi. It can reach the highest of highs, having series that can touch hearts, make you pump your fist in triumph, and pull at your collar at their eroticism. There are also shows that are aimless, made for the lowest common denominator, and feel like they’ve been slapped together because (and it is true) sex sells. Ecchi has always been that, and because of that fact there has been moments in its history where a good ‘run’ of shows is few and far between.

2018 was a really fucking good year, with both How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord and the fourth season of High School DxD being amazing entries into the genre. 2019 however was different, and despite the best efforts of Hensuki, ecchi that year left a lot to be desired. 2020 however has not only started off strong, but has given us something extremely special. Join me after the cut as I dive into the first ecchi of 2020 and of the decade: Interspecies Reviewers.

Don’t @ Me: Eleven of my Anime Opinions: Ishuzoku Reviewers Edition

I didn’t plan to actually have a Don’t @ Me this week, there just wasn’t that much to talk about. Then the gods decided to drop this flaming turd into my lap. In case you don’t know, Funimation which had licensed and streamed the hit new ecchi show Ishuzoku Reviewers has decided to drop the show as they feel it does not “reflect the company standards.”

Yeah.

Welcome to Don’t @ Me, where today I’m going to give you my ten thoughts on all of this madness. Let’s get into it after the cut.

On My Radar for Winter 2020: The (Mostly) Three Episode Check-In!

Winter 2020 has begun in earnest now, and most of the series have reached their third or fourth episodes. Overall this is absolutely a weaker outing than previous years, but I have no worries about the year as a whole because it’s looking to be absolutely stacked in the months to follow. The anime I’ve watched has changed a lot since I last did this, so join me after the cut as I give you my three-episode thoughts on the series I’m watching!

On my Radar for Winter 2020: Monster Girls, Bath Girls, Plunderer, Quints and Isekai.

We are in the last few days of 2019, which has turned out to be a pretty decent year after all is said and done. I’ll be posting out my final thoughts/awards for the anime in 2019 after Christmas, but for now I want share with my readers the anime I’ll be watching for the first season of 2020! So far Winter 2020 seems like it’s going to be a slower start, and not many series have caught my eye (compared to how STACKED, Spring 2020 looks). This list is absolutely gonna change as we get close to the launch though. Let’s get into it after the cut!
