Last year I bought a shit ton of light novels, and I’ve slowly been working my way through them. I’ve discussed the first 3 volumes of Goblin Slayer, and I am almost finished the first volume of If It’s for my Daughter, I’d defeat even a Demon Lord. You should expect my thoughts on that in the near future, but today I want to discuss yet another series.
I’ve made it no mystery that I absolutely LOVED the ecchi/isekai How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord. It was my ecchi/harem of the year in 2018, and in terms of story and characters, it has been the best new show I’ve watched in that genre since I got back into anime. So once I saw that most of the light novels were on sale, I couldn’t help but scoop them up and see if they hold up to the anime. Join me after the cut as we dive into the first volume of the series: How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord!
