Hey guys!
It’s been a few months since we talked about anime music, and I feel like we should! I heard you like lists, so here is another post with ten more of my favorite anime openingĀ themes! Check em out after the cut,
Do you like lists? I like lists, and I heard you like lists too. So today we have, as list! Anime and Manga have no shortage of great moments, characters and scenes, but they also have some wonderful pieces of dialogue. This post today is going to highlight just some of my favorite lines from a variety of different anime and manga series. Some are serious, some are funny, some are dubbed, others are subbed, others are strange. Let’s get into it after the cut!
I’ve always tried on my blog to make my posts short and to the point. I am not a fan of long sprawling essays (I hate the concept of the pop culture essay to its core), and I think it’s better if people just find the chase and cut to it. That is one of the reasons why I’ve strayed away from talking about the “Big Three” shonen series. Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece frankly are too long and have too many working parts and gears that I just never thought it was a proper fit for this blog’s format. Yet with Character Dives, I tried to make an effort to focus on one particular aspect of a character and talk about it. I think that is possible to do with a big series like this. So after the cut let’s dive into the lead character of the series Naruto: Naruto Uzumaki.
Hey guys, it’s list time again. I like lists, you like lists. We all like lists. It’s also almost Christmas, which has lists. I don’t know where I am going with this.
Anime music is a fundamental part of the industry. Opening and Ending themes are something people just love to watch, and they help separate anime from other forms of entertainment. So after the cut let’s dive into my top ten favorite anime and ending themes of all time. These are my personal favorites, what are yours?
Shipping, or “who makes the cutest couple” is a staple of almost every fandom. People just love taking two characters and pairing them off romanticly. This is taken to some extremes sometimes, especially in anime, where if two characters just happen to look at each other, they are destined to be.
Shipping Wars are also common both in the West and in Anime. Twilight was notorious for its Team Jacob and Team Edward fangirl fights, and many sitcoms often had viewers arguing over who deserved to be together. When it comes to Anime, well just how many fights have you witnessed or partaken in yourself. Don’t lie now. (IchikaxCharlotte for life).
Rarely though, do we get an entire film that seems almost dedicated to addressing and confirming a certain ship. So after the cut let’s take a dive into The Last: Naruto the Movie.
