Like last year, I tend to have my week long anniversary celebration end with a hentai review. We go from the Don’t @ Me, to personal thoughts on the blog, then the bit series review, and then finally we enter this den of culture. I was thinking about what I wanted to review, and while I didn’t have a series that spoke to me, I did want talk about this one. After the cut let’s dive into the series with a weird ass fuck title: Eroge! Sex and Game make Sexy Games!

We haven’t done a hentai post in awhile, and what better one to post than this! I’ve discussed many series, but there is one type that I haven’t really touched upon. Anyone who has been around the hentai scene has probably come across one of these series, ones that are…full… in all the right places. Well, now it is time to do just that, so after the cut let’s take a dive into the hentai series: Aneki: My Sweet Elder Sister!

It’s a new year, which means we have to ring in 2021 the only way I know how. Last year we dove into the infamous hentai series Emergence. This time we are talking about another famous hentai, the animated adaptation of a famous video game series, t it’s the one, the only Rance: The Quest for Hikari!

With only a few exceptions, I will talk about anything anime related here at Shallow Dives in Anime. This means that I’ve covered a wide range of different shows, from the comedic, to the action packed, to the straight up lewd. I quite enjoy this approach, mostly because I believe you can find a good story in any genre if the effort is put in. Throughout the two years I’ve done this blog however, there have been three shows that really stood out to me. Anime that talks about interesting ideas, or have compelling stories, or take risks in what they show. Some are better than others, not all of them are considered ‘good’ by the fandom, but they are still worth talking about. I’ve spoken about them all before, but after the cut let’s discuss School Days, Higurashi and Yosuga no Sora, or as I call it. Anime’s Blood and Sex Trilogy.
Our look at the manga series Parallel Paradise continues! The next volume is hot off the presses, and I wasted no time getting my hands on it. The fact alone that I can purchase this series from a bookstore is still amazing, but that’s a topic for another day. Regardless, we have some stuff to get into, so join me after the cut as we dive into the third volume of Parallel Paradise!

I mean that. Out of every piece of literature, out of everything that I have read and watched never, in my wildest dreams, did I think this would happen. When I saw the news that this series, would be getting an official English release, and that I could purchase it in a fucking bookstore, I thought I was getting pranked. A series that has been a part of this blog, and my headspace for two years now. My first collaboration post, and quite frankly, one of the best ecchi manga to ever exist.
After the cut, let’s take a dive into the OFFICAL English release volumes 1 and 2 of Parallel Paradise.

Its been awhile since we’ve gone down the hentai path, but this is a series that I have been wanting to talk about for a long time. I apologize for it taking so long but no longer. After the cut let’s dive into the hentai series Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo!
Our week long celebration of two years blogging at Shallow Dives in Anime comes to a conclusion! We’ve answered some questions, thanked our readers, and discussed a series that I’ve been trying to get to for a long while. Now however, it is time to go down the road of spice, with another hentai review, one that I’ve been eager to talk about for a while now.
So let’s cut right to the chase. After the cut let’s talk about Episode 4 of the hentai series: Nee Chanto Shiyou Yo!
((This is a Hentai Series, so NSFW images right up ahead))
While we keep things shallow here at Shallow Dives in Anime, that hasn’t meant that we shy away from looking at all aspects of a series. One such show, one that I never thought I would honestly discuss was Yosuga no Sora: In solitude, we are least alone.
It has been a show that has, probably rightfully so, meme’d and joked about by the anime community for years. Considering the show’s content, I am not surprised. However when sitting down to watch the show, cover to cover, putting all of that aside and judging the show for what it is. I can’t deny that I really, really enjoyed it.
Yosuga no Sora is a story about loneliness, regret, and sacrifice. A story that doesn’t shy away from its erotic elements and embraces the truth that teenagers will be intimate with each other. A story about young souls trying to move forward even when shackled by their past. Coupled with one of the most beautiful themes to ever grace the medium, Yosuga no Sora is a show that deserves to be more than what the memes have made it. Links to all my posts on the series, including a conversation with fellow blogger Infinite Zenith can be found after the cut.
It’s time for another hentai review! If your new to the blog, hentai series are something we don’t shy away from. I’ve discussed Emergence/Metamorphosis, Bible Black, Front Innocent, Sense of Values of Wine and Resort Boin, and today, we are doing another! I’ve been meaning to look at this series for a while now, as it is one I’ve really wanted to talk about. Despite coming across it quite recently, there just has been something about it that has stuck around in my mind, aside from the obvious. Join me after the cut as I take a dive into the first episode of the hentai series Kakushi Dere.
