The Summer of Love IV concludes! We have now reached our final post in the fourth annual Summer of Love. It’s been a long journey and as always, it’s been ups and downs. Still we are now at the end, and it’s for our final thoughts. Let’s get into those after the cut!
The Summer of Love IV continues! We have watched the first anime film and now it is time to return to the main series! With the Clow cards captured and Sakura now their new master, what is left to discuss? Are the peaceful days going to continue, or are there more problems ahead of us? The Summer of Love IV continues! When we last left off we saw Sakura Kinomoto release the clow cards, meet Kero and her would-be rival Syaoran. There were costumes and cute moments and this week will be no different. Let’s get into the next ten episodes right after the cut!
The Summer of Love III continues! We are heading into the final season next week, but for now I want to take sometime to do a character dive. These are always fun to do, where I look into a specific character and talk about just one or two things that make them tick. It’s not a full blown observation, but just a glance at one thing that makes them stand out. I always end up doing one or two of these during this event, and this time is no exception. The Summer of Love III continues! We are now in the third season of Fate/Illya and before we switch gears into full Fate/Stay Night mode, we need to take a detour into wholesome junction. It’s all filler but plenty of killer this week, so after the cut let’s talk about the next arc in the series: Peaceful Days of Magical Girls!
We’ve aired this song before, but since it is The Summer of Love II, it’s coming back! The band sweet ARMS has done all three of the opening themes for Date A Live, and honestly I can’t decide which one is the best. Either way, the Tune of the Week is the opening theme to the first season “Date A Live” by sweet ARMS!

Last November I undertook the task of dedicating the entire month to talking about every anime of the series Fate Stay Night called Fatevember. I greatly enjoyed talking about the franchise and I knew I wanted to try my hand at it again, but maybe only on one series.
So I hummed and hawed about it for awhile, until I realized this allowed me to kill two birds with one stone, and then I decided to go bigger, then smaller. Either way, I’m pleased to announce the upcoming blogging project: The Summer of Love with High School DxD
