On my Radar for Spring 2021: The Eight episode check-in!

Spring 2020 has turned out be a solid season, filled with good shows, a few great ones, and a few that just get the job done. Now that we are in the last third, it’s time to sit down and give you my thoughts on what I’m watching. Let’s get into it after the cut!

The Summer of Love III: Fate/Illya Season 1 Episodes 1-5: The Introduction Arc

The Summer of Love III begins! I’ve been wanting to get started on this series for a long time, and thankfully it hasn’t let me down. Now sadly Fate/Ilya’s story arcs don’t fit in as nicely as our previous outing so there might be some cross over, but hopefully we can keep that to a minimum. Either way it is time to crack open this infamous series, so after the cut let’s take a look at the Introduction Arc!

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions’ Toka Takanashi: Too Old for this Shit.

My journey through the series Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! has been a ride of ups and down. I won’t rehash what you can see in my posts, but instead I want to talk about the one thing that’s been on my mind since I watched it. Every now and then, regardless of a show’s quality or staying power, I find myself drawn to certain characters, they stay in my mind and get me really thinking. When that happens, I just have to talk about them. The person we are talking about today is no different, so after the cut let’s take a character dive into Chu-2′s Toka Takanashi.

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! Heart Throb: The Day After

I loved the first season of Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! It was the perfect example of a show that was ‘about something’ without either beating you overhead with the message, or forgetting to have comedy, emotion and a lot of heart. Yet when I started watching this series, I had heard that reception to it’s second outing was more mixed. Still, I wanted to check it out and see for myself, so after the cut let’s take a dive into Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! Heart Throb!

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions Season 1: Like a Laser

I had heard about this series for a while, yet had no inclination to watch it. However I was bored one day and after browsing through Netflix, I decided to load it up and see what was going on. I am glad I did, because man did I binge the fuck out of those twelve episodes. After the cut let’s take a dive into the first season of Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions!

Cleavage: Seins Magnifiques

Another hentai review, and one of a show that I’ve been coming (heh) back too many times over the years! It always a detailed menu when it comes to the cultured shows, but when you find a classic you love, it’s something you’ll never forget. That’s the title we are talking about today. After the cut let’s take a NSFW dive into the hentai series: Cleavage!

Nekopara Volume 2: Here Pussy, Pussy, Pussy

While working through my backlog of anime and stuff to talk about on the blog, the second volume of the Nekopara series was always on the list. As discussed before, the anime adaptation of the series left with me deep and compelling questions about the world and its structure. The visual novel meanwhile provided an fun and adult spin on the series that while I liked, I didn’t really love. It’s just that Love3 -Love Cubed- set such a high bar! So, will the second volume change my mind? After the cut let’s take a dive into Nekopara Volume 2!

Higurashi: When They Cry -Gou- First Cour: And Those Other Stories….

This blog is not new to Higurashi, a show that remains one of the more infamous shows of the fan-sub era. Full of horror, terror, and oozes of blood. It was one of the few shows to pull you in, and then be able to completely re-invent itself for its second half, and still remains good. I loved the series, and when I heard that it was being remade, I knew it would be anime I’m watching. How did it end up? Join me after the cut as I dive into Higurashi: When The Cry – Gou-

Let's have a little fun, shall we? — The new Higurashi series visual.
