I’ve dabbled in several harem series throughout my blogging world, and through those highs and lows I still never felt as refreshed as I did when I watched this show. Coming out in a year where ecchi and harem shows were at an all-time low. This was an anime that was like drinking water after a drought. A fun and cute little story with a great script and plenty of cute girls to enjoy. Yet it has been a few years and this is a story I wanted to get back too. Was it as good as I said it was? Or was the fact that this was the only thing on the menu give it praise it didn’t deserve? Well we are going to find out, so join me after the cut as we Re-Dive into Hensuki: Are you Willing to Fall in Love with A Pervert as Long as She’s a Cutie?
My original thoughts can be found right here!
Summer 2022 is reaching its conclusion and we have to talk about it! I’ve not dropped anything so far (except for Harem Labyrinth as I hunt for the uncensored version), and I got some thoughts on everything! Let’s get into it all after the cut!
The Summer of Love IV concludes! We have now reached our final post in the fourth annual Summer of Love. It’s been a long journey and as always, it’s been ups and downs. Still we are now at the end, and it’s for our final thoughts. Let’s get into those after the cut!
The Summer of Love IV continues! We have reached the final piece of media! The final chapter in this long journey of a girl and her magical cards. It’s been a ride full of ups and downs, but will this last entry be able to bring the show across the finish line? Or will it be the opposite? The truth is, as always, a bit of both. So after the cut let’s finally take a dive into the last entry of Cardcaptor Sakura: the second film: The Sealed Card!
The Summer of Love IV continues! The series is finished! After 70 episodes we have come to the grand conclusion. Does it hold up? Does the ending of the series successfully pull CCS to the finish line? Or has it collapsed under its own weight? Well after the cut let’s take a dive into the final batch of episodes and find out!
I’ve spoken about anime films before and how they can be divided into two separate types. The first are the anime series films, or franchise films. These are your Naruto, One Piece, My Hero, Fate, Demon Slayer. All the (usually non-canon) films that piggyback off their popular series. The other is the ‘feeling films’, which normally discuss big themes ideas, or as I put it: Your Daily Existential Crisis. I’ve watched several of the former, but rarely of the latter. Yet that has changed recently with my viewing of this film. Did I like it? Or was I bored? Well after the cut let’s take a dive into A Silent Voice and find out!
The Summer of Love IV continues! We have watched the first anime film and now it is time to return to the main series! With the Clow cards captured and Sakura now their new master, what is left to discuss? Are the peaceful days going to continue, or are there more problems ahead of us? Well after the cut let’s take a dive into the next batch of episodes and find out!
Anime in 2022 is halfway over, and it has been a decent year so far. Nothing amazingly special, but still solid. Now that we’ve reached the halfway point, it’s time to give out my thoughts on what I think is the best, and the worst, of the year so far. This list will no doubt change by the time the end of 2022 rolls around, but here is where I stand! Let’s get into it after the cut.
The Summer of Love IV continues! Last week we finally wrapped up our look at the final few episodes of the first half of the series. With that done and before we head into the final half, I thought it was important to make sure we cover all our bases with the series. I originally wasn’t going to be talk about this film as I didn’t feel it to be really important, but when making up the schedule I saw I had a free week and I figured I’d throw it in. Does that mean the story is worth looking at, or is it just another piece of filler? Well after the cut let’s take a dive into Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie and find out!
