There is no song better to celebrate the three years of this blog than my favorite ending theme of all time. One of the great pieces of ED animation ever put to screen. One of the catchiest songs in anime history. A great that stands shoulder to shoulder among all the greats.

The Tsukihime VN remake has been released, and with it all the music for the series! I’ve already gushed about the new opening a few months back, but apparently there was one for each of the routes! The tune of the week is Ciel’s opening theme for the series: Juvenile by ReoNA!
My Next Life as a Villainess has been blessed with some great music. The previous intro won best opening in my top lists of 2020 and while this entry isn’t as memorable, it’s still great. The tune of the week is the second opening theme to the series: Andante ni Koi o Shite! by angela!
Mother of Goddess’ Dormitory has been everything I needed from an ecchi. Cute girls, a funny plot, and most of all uncensored titty. And man of man, if this song isn’t catchy as all hell. The Tune of the Week is the opening theme to the series: Naughty Love by Ashu Nekota
I’ve been all about Girlfriend, Girlfriend which has been a nice simple harem comedy starring the most earnest guy on the planet and a bunch of classic girls. Nothing special at all, but sometimes you just need that ham and cheese sandwich. The music however has been delightfully unique, I just dig this low-key theme. The Tune of the Week is the opening theme to the series: Fuzaketenai Ze by Necry Talkie!
I’m fully on board with the new season of Higurashi now. After running around with no real idea for at least half of GOU. The back half of episodes pulled me right back in with a great and fun way to take the story. SOTSU the concluding season of the series has been doing the same thing. And man, that music. The Tune of the Week is the opening theme of the series: Analogy by Ayane!
The second season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid had one of the strongest opening pilots I’ve seen in years. I think we all suspected or accepted that due to the tragedy, Kyoto Animation would be excused if the work was not up to par. That thankfully was not the case, because holy shit did they knock it out of the park. The tune of the week is the opening theme to the second season: Ai no Supreme by Fhana!
ODDTAXI has been the less discussed gem of the last anime season. I’ve been watching it myself and while I don’t buy most of the hype. It’s absolutely a great show and deserves to be on any best of 2021 list easily. The Tune of the Week is the opening theme of the series: ODDTAXI by Skirt and DJ JPUNPEE
Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song– was a great series, just good solid science fiction. The music too wasn’t anything to scoff that, which is important cause it is a musical show. The Tune of the Week is the opening theme to the series: Sing my Pleasure by Vivy!
