I’ve been slowly making my way through Cowboy Bebop, the other part of the 90s/early 2000s generation ‘anime fan starter kit.’ It’s been pretty good so far. Having been removed from it for so long, avoiding the hype, I see it very much as ‘anime Firefly.” I’m sure I’ll be singing the praises by the end, but for now, the music is awesome. The tune of the week is the opening theme for the series: Tank by Seatbelts!
Shallow Dives in Anime 
This is such a classic! It reminds me of the detective and spy show themes from the ’60s. Which I still love today.

Yes! It’s just so iconic. Love this series. It’s just remember to not get too depressed about the ending and absolutely watch the movie. It’s a must!

When someone asked Watanabe about Spike’s ultimate fate he said, “Not dead, just very very sick.” I think he was fishing for a sequel but it never happened. We see Spike reimagined in Samurai Champloo.
